Oakland Park Fire Rescue firefighters and paramedics welcomed students and families back to school for the first day of the 2022/2023 school year. Launched seven years ago, the "School's Open, Drive Carefully" campaign is held annually at all three public elementary schools in Oakland Park to raise awareness that school is back in session and to remind drivers to stay alert and drive carefully, especially in school zones. The City of Oakland Park wishes all its students a wonderful school year!
