Mayor Lonergan Swears In New FRLA Board Members

Oakland Park demonstrated its dedication to economic growth and the hospitality sector at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) Board Installation on January 22, held at the iconic Mai-Kai restaurant. Mayor Tim Lonergan proudly swore in the new FRLA board members, showcasing the City’s active role in supporting South Florida’s hospitality industry.

Accompanied by City Commissioners Letitia Newbold and Fitzgerald Budhoo, along with Economic Development Director Neysa Herrera, Mayor Lonergan represented Oakland Park at this prestigious event, which brought together hospitality leaders to celebrate the incoming board and discuss the future of this vital industry.
