Project Overview
The City of Fort Lauderdale is making critical infrastructure upgrades as part of the Coral Ridge Force Main Replacement Project. This work involves replacing approximately 11,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer force main along Park Lane East/NE 38th Street to modernize aging infrastructure and increase redundancy to handle daily flows. The project utilizes horizontal directional drilling and open-cut connections to minimize disruptions. Restorations will include asphalt resurfacing, driveway repairs, curbing, and landscaping to ensure the area is fully restored upon completion of the construction.
Construction Schedule and Traffic Impacts
During construction, motorists should anticipate temporary traffic impacts, including lane closures and detours along Park Lane East. Fort Lauderdale has advised them to make every effort to minimize disruptions. We encourage motorists to drive carefully and obey the speed limit in the construction area.
