Oakland Park Boulevard, just west of I-95, will be closed to vehicular traffic from Friday, August 5th at 9 p.m. to Friday, August 12th at 11:59 p.m. for railroad crossing rehabilitation. The closure may be extended in the event of inclement weather.
Vehicular traffic will be detoured as follows:
Eastbound traffic on Oakland Park Boulevard will be directed to turn left (north) on USR7/US441, right (east) on Commercial Boulevard, and right (south) at Powerline Road to Oakland Park Boulevard.
Westbound traffic on Oakland Park Boulevard will be directed to take I-95 north to Commercial Boulevard, left (west) on SR-870, and left (south) on SR7/US441 to Oakland Park Boulevard.
This detour will allow workers to safely perform necessary repairs to the railway crossing. Drivers should plan ahead and expect delays.
