DESCRIPTION:The City of Oakland Park is launching the Small Business Assis
 tance Grants Program to support local businesses that have been negativel
 y impacted by the current COVID-19 crisis. \n  \nThrough the program\, el
 igible businesses can receive a maximum of $15\,000 in grant funding. The
  program\, funded under the CARES Act\, will provide grants to assist loc
 al businesses with general expenses\, such as: payroll\, COVID re-opening
  costs\, sanitation and protective equipment\, and other expenses. \n  \n
 The grant application will open on Monday\, October 19\, 2020 @ 08:00 a.m
 . and will close on Monday\, November 9\, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m. Available fund
 ing is limited and will be awarded on a “first-come\, first-serve” basis.
