Where is the property?
 1750-1800 East Oakland Park Boulevard

What is being proposed?
The applicant proposes to rezone a parcel on its campus that is now zoned RM-25, Multi-Family Residential District to CF, Community Facilities District to enable expansion of the school.

Why is the request being made?
Pursuant to Chapter 24, Article XII, Section 163 (E)(2)(a), this type of development requires a Neighborhood Participation Meeting prior to a development site plan application submission.

What is the process for the request?
The applicant previously held a Neighborhood Participation Meeting on February 3, 2022, prior to submission of a development site plan review application, as required by Section 24-163(E). However, that section of the Code also requires an application to be submitted within six months of the Neighborhood Participation Meeting, and that time has elapsed. Therefore, an additional Neighborhood Participation Meeting is necessary prior to submittal of the application.
