How do I get a library card?

If you are over 18, you may receive a free library card if you are a resident Broward County, you own property or a business in Oakland Park, or you are a student, teacher, administrative or support staff in Oakland Park schools or a library volunteer. Just bring a photo ID (driver's license or school ID), along with proof of your mailing address and you may check out materials the same day. If you are 16-17 years old, you are able to get a Library Card with your school photo ID and proof of local address. Children under 16 must come in with a parent or guardian to get a Library card. You can get your own card as soon as you can print your full name. Please call 954-630-4370 for more information.
