Grab your dancing shoes! Oakland Park will host its annual Dancing in the Street event on Friday, February 17, from 6 to 10 p.m. The free block party will feature live performances by SIX artists, including the Bobby Nathan Band, Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs, Catabella Music, Erica Gard, Broward College Jazz Combo, and Alejandro Mendez.
The event will offer food from food trucks, a Kids' Zone with a DJ and bounce houses, and goods from local artists and crafters. The family-friendly event will take place on Main Street/NE 12 Avenue, between Oakland Park Boulevard and Park Lane/NE 38 Street.
LIVE MUSIC
Dancing in the Street will offer a wide variety of live music on multiple stages. The following musicians are scheduled to perform from 6 to 10 p.m.:
Bobby Nathan Band (Classic Rock) - Big Dog Station, 3148 NE 12 Ave.
Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs - 33 Street and NE 12 Avenue; and
Catabella Music (Latin music) - City Hall, 3650 NE 12 Ave..

Main Street/NE 12 Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between Oakland Park Boulevard and Park Lane/NE 38 Street on Friday, February 17, from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. (midnight).
TRAFFIC ADVISORY/SHUTTLE/RIDE SHARE/PARKING INFORMATION
Main Street/NE 12th Avenue will be closed to thru traffic between Oakland Park Boulevard and Park Lane/NE 38th Street until midnight.
A free shuttle will operate from 6 to 10:30 p.m. on NE 11th Avenue and NE 13th Avenue, between Oakland Park Boulevard and NE 38th Street.
Ride Share pick up + drop off location - NE 12th Avenue at 37th Street.
Parking will be limited. Guests are encouraged to consider rideshare, carpooling, or public transportation.
