Paddle with a Purpose

Saturday, October 23, 2021

“Paddle with a Purpose” is a nationwide Nonprofit organization dedicated to nature preservation.

Formed in 2017, Paddle with a Purpose organizes monthly clean-ups with groups of volunteers across various parks and waterways in Fort Lauderdale, as well as large cities like Orlando and greater Los Angeles.

In 2018, the City of Fort Lauderdale recognized our work in collecting over 5 tons of trash and proclaimed December 8th “Paddle with a Purpose Day”.

Our mission is to raise awareness, educate the general population and bring communities together as they converge on kayaks, paddleboards and small watercraft to remove trash and harmful plastics from our waterways one bucket at a time.
