City Attorney D.J. Doody

Mr. Doody has served as the City Attorney for the City of Oakland Park since 2001 and previously served in that capacity from 1985 to 1997. He is a shareholder in the law firm of Goren, Cherof, Doody, Ezrol, P.A., Fort Lauderdale. He is Martindale-Hubbell peer review rated (AV) and maintains a practice in the areas of:

Mr. Doody holds a J.D. from Northern Illinois University, an M.P.A. from Florida Atlantic University and a B.A. from the Citadel. He is a member of American Bar Association and past President of the Florida Municipal Attorney's Association.
