The September 18, 2019 City Commission meeting includes a Public Hearing on the Final Millage, the Fiscal Year 2020 Budget, Capital Improvement Plan, Fiscal Policies and Compensation Plan Adoption.
Meetings are broadcast live on Comcast Channel 78, AT&T u-Verse Channel 99. Commission meetings are also live streamed on the city’s website. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend commission meetings.

NW 21ST AVENUE MOBILITY IMPROVEMENT/BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, will conduct a construction open house regarding the bridge replacement and widening on NW 21st Avenue between Oakland Park Boulevard and Commercial Boulevard in
the Cities of Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, and Tamarac.
The meeting will have an informal open house format beginning at 5:00 p.m. Representatives will be available to provide pertinent information and answer questions.
Construction plans will be available for public viewing.
• Replacing the existing bridge over the South Florida Water Management District C-13 Canal
• Widening of the roadway to accommodate a 5-foot bicycle lane in each direction
• Installation of traffic signal mast arms at NW 39th Street and NW 44th Street
