    The applicant for a commercial construction project at 2203 West Oakland Park Boulevard, Oakland Park, FL 33309 has scheduled an additional Neighborhood Participation Meeting. The proposed project includes the construction of an approximately 113,000 square foot self-storage facility. A request for rezoning from B-1 to B-3 and Conditional Use Approval for a Self-Storage facility use has been submitted as part of this application. The applicant previously held a neighborhood participation meeting for this project on February 25, 2019. The application has been heard at public hearings by the City’s Development Review Committee and Planning & Zoning Board. The applicant has scheduled this additional Neighborhood Participation meeting at the suggestion of the Planning and Zoning Board, prior to being scheduled for public hearing at the City Commission for the rezoning and conditional use approval necessary for the project to move forward.
