    October 3, 2018, 6:30 PM - 11:00 PM @ City Hall Chambers

    City Commission Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Meetings are broadcast live on Comcast Channel 78 and AT&T u-Verse Channel 99. Commission meetings are also live streamed on the city’s website. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend commission meetings. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.

  3. 2018 Fall Rockin' Reading Buddies Program

    October 3, 2018, 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM @ Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library

    Grades K-4. You are invited to join in a fun read-out-loud program that meets once a week for one hour for seven weeks. You will get to read out loud to an awesome teen big reading buddy, plus play some fun literacy-based games and activities. Parents, this program is designed to give children extra practice reading with a caring teen mentor, to boost young reader's confidence, and get them excited about reading. The last meeting will be a pizza party too. Young readers are welcome to bring their favorite pillow, blanket, or stuffed animal. So get comfy and read!
