dresses in a special costume that reflects the whimsical characters of all of his books. Using Dr. Seuss style storytelling and magic to engage the kids, Marci Poppins takes her audience on a fun ride to help them discover the love of reading!

Adults. Have your taxes prepared for free through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. IRS certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing for qualified individuals at the Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library from January 24 to April 16 each Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm-5pm. Before going make sure to call the Library at 954- 630-7374 or 954-630-4378 to find out the list of items you need to bring in preparation of your visit. The program is made available through the Hispanic Unity of Florida and services are provided in English and Spanish.
