    NOTICE OF A SPECIAL CITY COMMISSION MEETING As provided for in F.S. Section 286.011, the Attorney Client Session will open to the public in the City Hall Commission Chambers, then move to the 2nd Floor Conference Room at City Hall, 3650 NE 12 Avenue, Oakland Park, Florida 33334, for the closed session. Following the closed session, the meeting will reopen and be adjourned in the City Hall Commission Chambers, in accordance with Section 286.011(8) of the Florida Statutes.

  2. VITA Free Tax Preparation

    March 28, 2017, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library

    Adults. Have your taxes prepared for free through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. IRS certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing for qualified individuals at the Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library from January 24 to April 16 each Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm-5pm. Before going make sure to call the Library at 954- 630-7374 or 954-630-4378 to find out the list of items you need to bring in preparation of your visit. The program is made available through the Hispanic Unity of Florida and services are provided in English and Spanish.
