Regarding: Temporary Rate Reductions Dear Valued Partner:
The City of Oakland Park has enjoyed the working relationship we have developed with your firm. It has been a pleasure working with you and your team and we look forward to continuing that relationship.
During these uncertain times, we are all facing immense challenges. The City of Oakland Park remains dedicated to providing its community the services it relies on in a safe and effective manner. The financial impact of the crisis is anticipated to be substantial and, like all governments, we find ourselves needing to make some difficult decisions. Oakland Park has already taken meaningful steps to reduce personnel and operating costs due to this public health emergency. As part of these efforts, we are now requesting a 20% reduction of the fees your firm charges for services.
We understand that this is a difficult request to consider, but we hope that the support of your firm and others will allow us to continue our operations while minimizing the reduction of existing purchase orders or the cancellation and deferral of future purchases, projects, and engagements.
Attached to this document you will find a vendor response form. Please complete the form and submit it via e-mail to Maggie Turner (email@example.com).
We sincerely appreciate your consideration and look forward to continuing a mutually beneficial relationship.
