After-School Care Program Registration Open

The City’s certified staff offers children in grades K-8 assistance with completing homework and an opportunity to develop positive social interactions. The youth engage in challenging education and recreational activities, arts & crafts, and dramatics.

The City’s ASCOOP is a place for children to have supervised fun after a busy school day. There will be four 10-week sessions covering the upcoming school year which runs August 14 to June 2, 2020.

Parents can register elementary and middle school children at City Hall weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ASCOOP locations are North Andrews Garden Community Center (3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.) and Spiher Recreation Center (2:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.).

Transportation is available for students attending Lloyd Estates Elementary, Floranada Elementary, North Andrews Gardens Elementary and Oakland Park Elementary.

To learn more, please call the City’s Parks and Leisure Services Department at 954-630-4500.
