N. Andrews Avenue Roadway Improvements Project

N. Andrews Avenue Roadway Improvements
Lane Reductions During Off-Peak Traffic Hours

The Broward County Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing improvements to the sidewalks and curb ramps along North Andrews Avenue between Oakland Park Boulevard and Prospect Road. The project is scheduled for completion later this Spring, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays.

Work will consist of repairing and upgrading sidewalks and curb ramps to current ADA Standards and modifying some driveways. During construction, northbound and southbound Andrews Avenue will be temporarily narrowed to one lane during off-peak traffic hours. The through lane adjacent to the sidewalk under construction will be closed. All other lanes will remain open and all driveways will be accessible.

Pedestrians will be redirected to the sidewalk on the opposite side of Andrews Avenue as the sidewalks within the work area will be temporarily closed.

Residents or business owners can contact the Broward County Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division at 954-357-6040 or the Project Manager at 954-647-6490 with questions.

Your patience is appreciated during this necessary roadway maintenance project.
