Funky Buddha Brewery presents the Oakland Park Oktoberfest

Funky Buddha presents Oakland Park's 12th Annual Oktoberfest with live German music, and authentic German-style beer and food in the Biergarten. Come participate in the Central Bark Ft. Lauderdale® Dachshund Dash, and the stein and beer barrel races. Oktoberfest celebration is one of the signature cultural events in South Florida attracting people who enjoy the festive atmosphere. The event also includes a children's carnival area with amusement rides.

Bust out the lederhosen! Funky Buddha Brewery is presenting the 13th Annual Oakland Park's Oktoberfest Oct 6 - 8 at Jaco Pastorius Park!

THREE DAYS of Oompah Fun with live German music, authentic German-style beer and food downtown park turned Biergarten just north of the NE 38th Street/Park Lane intersection where Funky Buddha will be hosting the “after party” each night.

Enjoy unique experiences you'll only be able to have at Oakland Park's Oktoberfest including Central Bark Ft. Lauderdale's "Dachshund Dash," alongside other OP Oktoberfest traditions like Amusement rides, Bavarian folk dancing, stein races, beer barrel races, apple strudel eating contest. Dachshund owners please register your dog in advance for the Central Bark Dachshund Dash by calling Central Bark Doggy Day Care at 954-568-3647.

Oakland Park Oktoberfest offers a festive atmosphere with German cuisine and carnival food, beverages and music. The new “Spielzelt” with games and children’s crafts. This year will also debut a beer panel, homebrewing seminar, and sausage making demo at the new “Kulinarisches zelt.”

The large “Schottenhamel” tents will replicate a festive Bavarian village celebration, including a stage and dance floor with live music by Sepp Diepolder: Master Yodeler and The Euro Express Band help keep the traditional flavor along with a modern twist. Performances by the The Original Auerhahn Schuhplattlers of Miami dancers will also delight attendees with their colorful attire and dancing displays. 

Funky Buddha’s featured tap offerings will include its best-selling Floridian Hefeweizen, Hop Gun IPA, a German Pilsner, and a special batch of Marzen – an amber Bavarian lager traditionally served at Oktoberfest celebrations. Funky Buddha will also include a selection of its specialty beers like “Fire in the Hole” and “Last Snow” brewed using natural ingredients. Oktoberfest revelers can also enjoy the traditional “Prosit” toast with wines and other spirits.

The Downtown Culinary Arts District provides free parking along Oakland Park Main Street with shuttle services. There will also be paid premium parking north of Jaco Pastorious Park and affordable parking in close walking proximity to the main entrance through the Jaco Grand Plaza. Event is for all ages. Tickets are $5 at the door, free for children ages 12 and belowThis event will be held, rain or shine.
